I felt a lot like Olive Oyl when she sings “He Needed Me” when my son called yesterday and needed help decorating his office. I don’t care how old they get, when I get an opportunity to spend the day with one of my kids, and HE NEEDS ME, I jump on it. Lucky for me it was a perfect morning to take off and I was there within the hour. I got there around noon I saw an empty office that needed to be ready for an open house at 4:30 p.m. The funny thing is, while I was hyperventilating, he was planning where we were going to have lunch. I love that about him! (and it drives me a little crazy) After lunch, we picked up some frames, had some pictures of some of his beautiful landscapes framed, enlarged one of his cards and framed it, pulled some furniture in from the other offices, and he was ready to roll! I loved my day with him, a true gift!
